A Coming Leadership Crisis

3:1 Look, the sovereign Lord who commands armies ¹ 

is about to remove from Jerusalem ²  and Judah

every source of security, including ³ 

all the food and water, ⁴

12:1 At that time ⁵  you will say:

“I praise you, O Lord,

for even though you were angry with me,

your anger subsided, and you consoled me.

15:9 Indeed, the waters of Dimon ⁶  are full of blood!

Indeed, I will heap even more trouble on Dimon. ⁷ 

A lion will attack ⁸  the Moabite fugitives

and the people left in the land.

19:25 The Lord who commands armies will pronounce a blessing over the earth, saying, ⁹  “Blessed be my people, Egypt, and the work of my hands, Assyria, and my special possession, ¹⁰  Israel!”

the one who tries to avoid evil is robbed.

Yesaya 62:9

62:9 But those who harvest the grain ¹⁹  will eat it,

and will praise the Lord.

Those who pick the grapes will drink the wine ²⁰ 

in the courts of my holy sanctuary.”
